A one-flower vase featuring a delicate hand-carving of a peacock on prized soot-colored bamboo. This bamboo has been taken from thatched roofs, where it was stained over the course of 150 years by fireplace smoke. With an internal tube to stop water leaking out. A vase brought to life by the texture of the bamboo, and that will be completed by a single flower.
