Yamanaka lacquerware originated more than 400 years ago. Thanks to Makie artisans visiting Yamanaka hot spring from Kyoto and Aizu, it has uniquely developed since then. It's designed with splendid patterns made using traditional techniques.

●Materials: natural wood, octagonal cross-section, lacquer, square tip ●Size (approx. cm): 20.5 ●Made in Japan ●Please note when using: *After using, immediately wash with cold or warm water, then wipe with a soft cloth. *Avoid storing in direct sunlight as this may case warping or discoloration. *Do not use on open flames. *Do not use a scrubbing brush or scouring powder on this. *Do not use in a dishwasher, dryer or micowave. *Replace immediately should the lacquer become cracked or damaged. *Do not use for any purpose other than its intended one. *Be careful that children do not handle this item incorrectly. *In rare cases a rash or other reaction may develop after contact with lacquer.
