A profound and beautiful pitch-black ink boasting subdued gloss, and it appears as gradated brownish purple when diluted! The highest-grade ink made from lampblack of rapeseed oil.
It's used for creating top-grade pieces of calligraphy. Lampblack obtained with the manufacturer's original automatic soot-collecting machine is refined and well kneaded to make this superb product!

[Handling Precautions]
*After use, rub off moisture from the ink rubbing area and store in the paulownia box.
*Paulownia Box: With lots of humidity the wood grain will tighten. With little humidity it will open up.
*Moisture is the worst enemy of solid ink. Be sure to store in the paulownia box to properly lower humidity.
*The solid ink is manufactured from October to April when the temperature is lower.
*Its user's manual, etc are designed for the Japanese market.
