[Regarding PVC coating]
PVC coating laminated finish: does not aim provide waterproof and water repellant capabilities.
It has a slight water repellant function. However, water will soak in at the seams etc and, when a long time has passed, this may cause the coating finish to peel.
Also, color transfers easily so, if storing for a long time, wipe with a dry cloth, wrap in a breathable cloth and store in a well-ventilated place making sure that it does not come into contact with other materials.

[Caring for PVC coating]
Usually, wipe off dust, stains etc with a dry cloth. After this, should stains etc still not be removed, wipe off using a slightly damp cloth that has been tightly wrung or a cloth wet with diluted detergent, and then wipe off moisture with a dry cloth. Alcohol, benzine etc may dissolve the surface so refrain from using.
