Made using a traditional patterned stencil, a tool for dyeing kimono patterns. This new tableware series was born from a collaboration between Yada Stencil Shop, that has been continued making patterns in Katsushika Ward since the Edo period, and the traditional metal products of Asakawa Metal Works. These are items that are sure to bring new richness into your life.
This product is a cast metal hand mirror (zinc die cast) with a pattern of a stencil used for dyeing kimono etched into the plate. The fusion of traditional and modern techniques bring about new added value.
It is currently being sold at long-established department stores and famous online shopping sites. In silver plated and black plated colors, and available in 7 designs. This is a red Fuji pattern silver plated item.
