Designed by the office Nendo, which Sato Oki runs. Equbo won the Design Report Special Award in Milanosalone in 2003. The office has been developing products for various shops such as CIBONE, Ajito, and h-concept. It also has been receiving high praise from overseas and keeps producing designs which users love.

Matte finishing is a method to remove the gloss. It creates a moist feeling and a subdued look.
The fork is 4-pronged, and the handle is short. There is a dimple on the head. One side of the handle is semicircle-shaped, so it feels softer in the hand than flat-designed forks. Also, when you change the way you hold the fork during eating, you can turn it easily.
