The hollow on this cutlery represents a dimple, a symbol of happiness. The product name "equbo," has been engraved cutely. Simple yet smart figure. You will find it easy to use when you hold curved surface on the back of the handle.

Designed by the office Nendo, which Sato Oki runs. Equbo won the Design Report Special Award in Milanosalone in 2003. The office has been developing products for various shops such as CIBONE, Ajito, and h-concept. It also has been receiving high praise from overseas and keeps producing designs which users love.

Matte finishing is a method to remove the gloss. It creates a moist feeling and a subdued look.
One side of the handle is semicircle-shaped, so it feels softer to the touch than flat-designed spoons. The size of dimples differs depending on the size of spoon. For instance, the dimple of spoon (S) is smaller than the one of spoon (L). The length is makes this perfect for use as both a tea spoon and a coffee spoon.
