Unlike general cutlery which is made of curved surfaces, this aesthetic cutlery is designed as if it were made of a lot of small mirrors. You can't help being surprised at its usefulness even after many years.
There are 40-50 steps involved when working on this item, using both human hands and machines. Even the New York Modern Museum of Art has given high praise toward its perfection. This product won the German iF Design Award and Good Design Award.
Mirror-finishing makes products very shiny just like mirrors reflecting objects. It produces a clean and fresh atmosphere.

Designed by Takenobu Igarashi who has a great reputation in the sphere of poster calender production of MoMA, graphic design and product design.
It looks flat in the picture, but you can see that the thickness differs when you look at it from the side; the end of the handle is about 2mm, and the tip is about 1mm. It gradually starts to get thinner from the part which you spread butter. Unlike general butter knives, the handle has the same thickness from end to end, so it looks straight and innovative.
