The Karu! JIKU Series are hanging scroll tapestries crafted in pursuit of lightness. With a weight roughly half that of conventional hanging scrolls (reduced from 230g to 110g using the some measurements). The giclee print (high-quality 10-color print with a lightfastness of 70 years) portion is not just used for the picture but also the background to give it an authentic look. Enjoy changing hanging scrolls for various events and seasonal changes. These are important items that allow you to relax and sense the transition of the seasons in your daily life. These are also items often used for hospitality when you have guests. Decide what to hang based on the event or time of year. Should a decorative stand be necessary, please purchase it separately.
[Kakihyogu, The Great Wave off Kanagawa] Katsushika Hokusai's "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" which depicts Mt. Fuji, is very popular among his "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji". In a new design which also uses seasonal flowers.

●Hanging Scroll Care Instructions:
・Do not permanently keep your hanging scroll stored away. Take it out at once a year.
・Do not constantly hang a hanging scroll. Replace it every 2-3 months.
・When you decide to replace a hanging scroll, select a dry day with good weather.
●In order to keep your hanging scroll in a beautiful state for a long time:
・If you leave a hanging scroll hung up for a long time, the scroll will lose its original smoothness and will become hardened while extended.
・Tightly rolling up a hardened hanging scroll when putting it away may lead to the creation of fold lines on the paper. Also, after several years have elapsed, these folds will become tears and damage the splendor of the piece.
・If a hanging scroll is kept stored away for a long time, moisture inside the scroll will cause it to become stained and moth-eaten.
・Brown mark staining often found on old hanging scrolls is caused by the oxidation of moisture containing iron. Also, pests that cause something to be moth-eaten like moisture and will damage your precious item.
・ When rolling up or extending a hanging scroll, do so carefully so as to not create folds on the picture portion.
・Tie the drawstring when storing away.
・Should a decorative stand be necessary, please purchase separately.
