"Kokoan" is a tea room located on the top floor of Hosomi Museum, known for its Japanese art collection. The tea ceremony room, also known as the last work of master craftsman Sotoji Nakamura, has an innovative eye-catching design, with an open east-side door. After an explanation of the "Shitsurai" and manners of the tea room, you will be treated with Matcha green tea and seasonal Japanese sweets. This "tea ceremony experience" has an English program for vistors from overseas. We would like you to take in Japan's unique feel using all 5 senses.
