Heian costume trial experience

Dress as a Heian noble in the birthplace of Nishijin weave.

"Junihitoe" is a costume worn by noble ladies of the Heian period that has many uchigi layered beneath the karaginu. In particular, the silk fabric “Nishijin weave” Junhitoe from Kyoto are items of the finest quality. With gradated colors that have the look of a gorgeous Heian scroll. After the trial wearing experience, you can also have a memorial photograph taken by a professional cameraman. For men who want to try these noble costumes there is also a sokutai attire that can be worn, meaning both men and women can enjoy this oppurtunity.
