Welcome to the world of Serizawa, with its unique, eye-catching colors.

Keisuke Serizawa, a designated Living National Treasure, with his many works which use the traditional Japanese katazome stencil dyeing technique. After encountering the Okinawan dyeing method of Bingata,

he developed his own characteristic style that even today does not display fading colors. At this exhibition, that displays more than 150 of his major works such as folding screens and textiles, you can experience the charm of Serizawa's work.
