Fujimori Shrine Hydrangea Public Garden

Colorful hydrangea flowers in full bloom within the temple's grounds.

Fujimori Shrine, known for its gods of winning luck and horses, is also famous as being a “hydrangea (ajisai) shrine”. In the temple grounds, there are hydrangea gardens in 2 different locations that cover a total area 1,500 square meters and have 3,500 hydrangea flowers in 40 different species.

The appearance of the blooms in all their many colors is spectacular. On June 15 (Fri.) the “Hydrangea Festival” will be held, where there will be kenka flower offerings, kencha tea offerings and kagura offerings.
